Open House November 2, 2025

Looking for fun and historic things to do in Jersey City with the whole family? Join us for the Barrow Mansion Open House on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 2pm-4pm. The tours are guided by our staff and volunteers who are experts in the building and its history. You’ll explore our landmark community center and discover the history of the neighborhood, its ties to the Van Vorst family, and how the Mansion has evolved architecturally and socially over time.

Guests will also get to experience one of Jersey City’s hidden gems — our antique bowling alley — and even try knocking down a few pins!

The Open House is perfect for adults and elementary school–aged children. We’ll have some light refreshments for you to enjoy. Admission is free, but space is limited — reserve your spot today by filling out our contact form.
