Barrow Mansion Joins HudsonGives

The funds raised will cover programs, restoration and operations

The Barrow Mansion is kicking off it’s fundraising efforts in 2025 by participating in HudsonGives, a county-wide virtual fundraising effort that seeks to support New Jersey nonprofits.

“We have been participating in HudsonGives since 2022,” says Meredith Kennedy, president, Barrow Mansion Development Corporation (BMDC) board of directors. “We’ve found it to be an effective way to raise money to support our free programs, such as Music on the Porch, and allow us to continue our work as a community center.”

The BMDC was established in 1984 as a nonprofit 501(c)3 to promote and protect the Barrow Mansion. It is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and renovation of the landmarked building. It also holds many community events, including free music programs, art shows, poetry readings, and other cultural events.
